Farmington knocked in five runs in the second on its way to a 9-1 victory over Prior Lake on Wednesday. The rally was led by a single by
Mason Conrad and a grand slam by
Matt Hinnenkamp.
Farmington got things moving in the second inning.
Mason Conrad drove in one when he singled.
Kyle Hrncir was credited with the victory for the Tigers. Hrncir went six innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out ten and walking one.
Tyler Borlik threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Brandt started the game for Prior Lake. The bulldog surrendered seven runs on four hits over three innings, striking out seven. #10 threw three innings out of the bullpen.
Farmington tallied one home run on the day. Hinnenkamp absolutely crushed a grand slam in the second inning, his first of his high school career.
Farmington tallied eight hits on the day.
Mason Conrad and
Kyle Hrncir each collected multiple hits for the Tigers. Hrncir and Conrad each collected two hits to lead Farmington. The Tigers didn't commit a single error in the field. Hinnenkamp had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
Gabbard went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Prior Lake in hits.
