Baseball defeated Rosemount 3-2 on Tuesday after taking the lead late in the game.
The game was tied at two with Farmington batting in the bottom of the fifth when
Drew Conrad singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Farmington pitchers struck out six, while Rosemount pitchers sat down ten.
The Tigers tied the game in the first inning. A wild pitch scored the Tigers first run.
Hunter Frost earned the victory on the mound for Farmington. The pitcher allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking zero.
Kent started the game for Rosemount. Kent surrendered three runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out nine. #4 threw one and one-third innings out of the bullpen.
Ethan Coyer started the game for Farmington. The ace went four innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and striking out three
Kyle Hrncir went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Farmington Tigers Varsity in hits.
Blume led Rosemount with two hits in four at bats.
