Transformational Purpose Statement: I coach to provide a focus on improving the health, fitness, and confidence of all athletes. My goals are to teach athletes to respect each other, their coaches, and competitors. I will celebrate individual improvement, not just the winner or the fastest.
This is my 13th year coaching between Cross-Country and Track at Farmington High School. I graduated from Farmington High School in 1999 where I ran Cross-Country and Track. During my high school years, I was first female in Farmington to make it to state Cross-Country in 1997 and again in 1998. I was all-state in the 800 meters. I went on to run at the college level where I became a 9-time All-American in the 800, 4x800, 600 (indoors) and 4x400 as well as being apart of the 2002 National Champion team. In 2011 I was inducted into the Hall of Fame at my alma mater, Doane University and in 2017 was inducted into the Farmington High School Hall of Fame. My husband, Adam, also coaches Track and Cross-Country here in Farmington. We have 2 children, Mackenzy (16) and Carter (12), who are actively involved in the Track and Cross-Country programs in Farmington. In addition to coaching, I work as a mental health therapist and addictions counselor.
