Farmington suffered a 2-0 defeat to the visiting Eastview Lightning on Monday.
 
Eastview came in absolutely on fire without a defeat in their last seven matches, outscoring opponents 34 to 5. They scored halfway through the first half with their forward Asher Ozuzu.
 
The Tigers had a chance for the equalizer when Ruiz had the ball deflected to him in the center of the box, but he couldn't get it by a kick save from the keeper to preserve the 1-0 lead into halftime.
 
Alex Giddings did his best in the second half to keep the Tigers in it with a bevy of saves made, but the offense failed to scratch a goal across.
 
Ozuzu added an assist to his night as he found Nick Karam for the finishing goal of the night.
 
The Tigers prepare to wrap up the regular season for Senior Night on Wednesday.
