Matt Hinnenkamp was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Wednesday, driving in four on three hits to lead Farmington past Prior Lake 7-1. Hinnenkamp drove in runs on a home run in the fifth and a double in the seventh.
Prior Lake opened up scoring in the second inning, when Baur singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Farmington scored three runs in the fifth inning. The Tigers scored its runs on a home run by Hinnenkamp.
Hunter Frost led the Farmington to victory on the pitcher's mound. The hurler allowed five hits and one run over five innings, striking out four.
Tyler Borlik threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Borlik recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Farmington Tigers Varsity.
Wattermann toed the rubber for Prior Lake. The hurler lasted six innings, allowing nine hits and six runs while striking out 11. Dahl threw one inning out of the bullpen.
