Farmington dropped just their second game of the year 4-0 to Rochester Mayo on Saturday.
It was a hard fought physical battle with a total of six yellow cards issued during the match. It was also two free kicks in which Mayo scored the first two goals of the game.
After keeping it close, 1-0 at the break, after the second free kick goal trickled into the back of the net, the flood gates opened and the Spartans tacked on two more late.
The Tigers managed just 6 shots, 1 of which was on target.
Farmington now will have three straight games on the road as they return to Conference play. They currently are 1-0 and atop the South Suburban standings.
