Prior Lake, Minn. -- In a tightly contested matchup between the Prior Lake Lakers and the Farmington Tigers, the Lakers edged out the Tigers 2-0 in a pitchers' duel.
Despite both teams showcasing strong performances on the mound, the Lakers managed to capitalize at the plate, securing the win.
The scoring opened early in the game, with Linus Fleek's sacrifice fly in the first inning giving the Lakers a crucial run. They added another in the third inning courtesy of Brody Stephany's sacrifice fly.
Ben Snider of the Lakers claimed the win, delivering a standout performance, conceding no hits or runs over seven innings while striking out eight.
On the opposing side,
Joe Baldus took the loss for the Tigers, pitching four innings and allowing two runs on four hits.
Despite the setback, the Tigers' defense remained solid, committing no errors throughout the game.
However, their offensive efforts fell short against the Lakers' formidable pitching.
