STILLWATER, Minn. -- The Blazing Cats Floor Hockey CI team kicked off their season with an exciting collaboration of Lakeville North, Lakeville South, Farmington, and Burnsville coming together to compete and grow as a team. Practices began at the beginning of December and today marked the first Varsity game of the season, facing off against the Stillwater Ponies. Despite a hard-fought effort, the Blazing Cats came up short with a final score of 10-5.
Caden stepped into the goaltender position for his first full game and delivered an impressive performance, showcasing determination and focus in the net. Offensively, the Blazing Cats saw goals from Payton, John, and Drayden, highlighting strong teamwork and offensive execution throughout the game. Way to go, Cats!
UP NEXT
Varsity travel on Thursday, January 9 to Mankato at Franklin Elementary School. Puck drops at 4:30 pm.
