FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Burnsville/Farmington/Lakeville Blazing Cats Adapted Floor Hockey CI team has earned a berth in the 2026 MSHSL Adapted Floor Hockey CI State Tournament after two decisive section victories. The Blazing Cats defeated Centennial/Spring Lake Park 11-0 and followed with an 11-4 win over St. Cloud to secure their spot at state. The tournament will be held February 27-28 at Bloomington Jefferson High School.
The Blazing Cats enter the tournament with a 9-3 record and will open state play against the South Washington County Thunderbolts on Friday, February 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Gym A at Bloomington Jefferson High School. The matchup marks a rematch from January 28, when the Thunderbolts defeated the Blazing Cats 11-5.
With momentum from their section wins, the Blazing Cats will look to build on their balanced scoring and defensive consistency as they compete against the top teams in Minnesota at the state tournament.
