ROSEMOUNT, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers came up just short in a closely contested South Suburban Conference dual on Tuesday night, falling to the Rosemount Irish by a final score of 137.450 to 134.275 at Rosemount High School.

Farmington turned in a season-best team performance on vault (35.400) and posted consistent scores across all four events to stay within reach of the Irish throughout the meet. The Tigers were especially strong on floor (34.350) and beam (33.400), keeping the dual competitive into the final rotation. Despite the solid showing, Rosemount pulled away late to claim the narrow victory on its home floor.
TOP TIGERS
- Alana Oden led the Tigers in the all-around with a score of 34.775. Her night included an 8.925 on floor, 8.850 on beam, and 8.400 on bars.
- Allie Oden followed with a 33.975 in the all-around, highlighted by a team-high 9.200 on vault and scores of 8.750 on floor and 8.725 on beam.
- Stella Trumble scored 9.100 on vault and added an 8.800 on floor in a strong two-event performance.
- Kamryn Schmucker contributed an 8.625 on both beam and floor.
- Miley Malszycki added key routines with scores of 8.500 on vault and 8.575 on floor.
- Additional contributions came from Chloe Stroth (8.225 vault), Cydney DeRuyck (7.975 beam), Riley Ball, and Neve Washington on bars.
UP NEXT
The Tigers return home on Monday, December 16, to host Lakeville South in a South Suburban Conference dual meet. Competition begins at 6:00 p.m. at the TLLC in Farmington.
