ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers competed at the MSHSL Section 1 Class AA Gymnastics Meet on Saturday at Rochester Century High School, finishing sixth overall with a team score of 135.375. The meet also produced two state qualifiers for Farmington, as Allie Oden advanced on vault and Alana Oden qualified on bars for the MSHSL Class AA State Tournament.

Farmington posted a 35.35 on vault, 30.625 on bars, 34.75 on beam, and 34.65 on floor exercise to close out the team competition.
Individually, Allie Oden delivered a 9.425 on vault to place third overall in the event. With Lakeville North's Anna Ruppert and Lakeville South's Piper Keith both qualifying for the all-around competition, Oden earned the first individual state qualifying position on vault to advance to the state meet.
On bars, Alana Oden recorded an 8.725 to finish fifth overall. With the top three finishers qualifying through the all-around, Oden secured the second individual qualifying spot for the state tournament on bars.
Additional highlights for the Tigers included strong performances across the remaining events. On beam, Alana Oden scored a 9.125 to place sixth overall, while on floor exercise, Allie Oden posted a 9.425 to finish in a tie for second place. In the all-around standings, Allie Oden totaled 33.8 to lead Farmington. Miley Malszycki scored an 8.975 on vault, placing 10th. Malszycki also scored an 8.975 on floor, placing just outside the top 10. Kamryn Schmucker scored an 8.925 on floor, also finishing just outside the top 10.

The MSHSL Class AA Individual & All-Around State Championships will take place Saturday, February 21, at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. Competition begins at 11 a.m.
