FHS SPEECH TEAM COMPETITION RECAP

March 1 – Shakopee
The Farmington Speech Team had a strong showing at the 3rd Annual Wild Thing Tournament in Shakopee! Ella and Zineab earned fourth place in the Merit final round for Duo, while Olivia took first in her Merit final round. A fantastic effort by all!

March 7 – Anoka (NSDA National Qualifier)
Five dedicated Farmington Speech Team members spent their day off competing at the NSDA National Qualifying Tournament at Anoka High School. Vaughn competed in Humorous, and Gavin represented in Informative. We are proud of all our competitors and spectators for representing Farmington with excellence!

March 8 – Owatonna
A long journey to the Huskies Invitational in Owatonna paid off with great performances! Charlotte secured second in Extemporaneous Reading and fourth in Prose, Gavin placed fifth in Informative, and Vaughn took sixth in Humorous. Ella and Zineab earned Honorable Mentions for their Duo performance. Well done, Tigers!

March 15 – Northfield
At the Northfield Raider Invitational, Charlotte earned an Honorable Mention in Extemporaneous Reading in a tough competition featuring over 400 competitors. A well-earned recognition!

UP NEXT
The Speech Team travels on April 5th at the Jordan Invitational at Jordan High School.
