ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys soccer team dropped a narrow 2-1 decision to Rochester Century on Monday night at Century High School in South Suburban Conference action.

The Panthers opened the scoring in the first half at the 15:29 mark to take a 1-0 lead into the break. Century extended their advantage midway through the second half with a goal in the 25th minute (25:44) to go ahead 2-0.
Farmington answered just two minutes later when AJ Vinar scored off an assist from Jose Ruiz at 23:58, trimming the deficit to one. Despite a strong final push, the Tigers were unable to convert the equalizer in the closing minutes.

The Tigers return home on Tuesday, September 2, for a non-conference matchup against New Prague. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. at Farmington High School.
