Cortney Meyer is the coach of the Math Team. In 2009, she graduated from Winona State University with a double major in Mathematics and Mathematics Education. In 2013, she earned her Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics from Northern Arizona University. Throughout her career, she has taught at Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona, and served as a Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University. In 2014, she returned to Minnesota and have been teaching at Farmington High School ever since.
In 2017, Coach Meyer had the distinct honor of establishing the Math Team at Farmington High School. This program has continued to grow, and she is immensely grateful to be a part of it. Regarding the Math Team, Coach Meyer states, “Being involved with this team has afforded me the opportunity to foster stronger connections with the outstanding students at Farmington High School. Working with these students brings me an immense amount of joy, as it allows so many of them to connect with their passions.”
