Maplewood, Minn. - On a chilly April afternoon, the Farmington High School girls lacrosse team faced off against the Hill-Murray Pioneers in a thrilling match-up. Both teams were evenly matched, but in the end, Farmington emerged victorious with a final score of 12-11.
The game started off slow, with both teams struggling to find the back of the net. But it wasn't long before Farmington's offense began to heat up, scoring a number quick goals to take the lead. Hill-Murray fought back, however, and managed to keep the game close before the end of the first half.
A back-and-forth second half ended with the Tigers earning a 1-goal victory over the Pioneers.
The win improves Farmington's record to 3-2, while Hill-Murray falls to 2-3. It was a hard-fought victory for Farmington, and they'll look to carry that momentum into their next game.
