Farmington, Minn. - Owen Schmidt didn't allow a single run against Eagan on Monday, May 15 at Tiger 1, throwing a complete game shutout and leading the Tigers to victory over the Wildcats.
It was the pitcher's duel of the season in Farmington. Both starters went the distance in a 1-0 thrilling, walk-off winner for the Tigers over Eagan.
Only four hits were scattered between both teams as the Tigers would go on to win by scoring the only run in the home side of the final inning on a walk-off wild pitch with two outs.
Owen Schmidt struck out an incredible 12 en route to his complete game, shutout victory to give the Tigers their 10
th win of the season.
Ethan Stender had the lone extra base hit with a double.
Tanner Rezny singled and scored the winning run in the seventh.
