Shakopee, MN - The T1GERS faced off against 9-2 (undefeated in conference play) and currently tied #1 in the conference, Shakopee. The Sabers started off with two dominant sets winning handedly over the T1GERS 25-11 and 25-7. In the second set the Sabers went on a 16-0 run with dynamite serves leading 21-4 before T1GERS found a way out of the rotation. In the 3rd set the T1GERS showed life battling to 10 but found themselves in another slump, losing 18-25.
With limited kills as a team Bergen Miller, in his first match of the season due to an elbow injury, led the team with 4 kills, Alex Afanasyev had 3 and TJ Martin had 2. Bergen, Soren, TJ, and Andrew Kaliev all had scrappy moments on defense with some impressive digs.
Final Score - Shakopee defeats Farmington 25-11, 25-7, 25-18.
