Apple Valley, Minn. - In an intense South Suburban Conference showdown, the Farmington Tigers faced off against the Eastview/Apple Valley co-op team at Eastview High School on Monday, May 16.
The game proved to be a nail-biter from start to finish, but unfortunately, the Tigers fell short, losing to their opponents by a close score of 8-7.
The first half of the game showcased the Tigers' determination and skill as they managed to take a narrow lead of 4-3.Â
However, the second half proved to be a closely contested battle. Both teams fought hard, demonstrating their defensive capabilities and offensive strategies. The Eastview/Apple Valley co-op team displayed resilience and managed to rally back, ultimately securing a hard-fought victory.
Despite the Tigers' valiant efforts, they were unable to maintain their first-half lead. The game concluded with a final score of 8-7 in favor of the Eastview/Apple Valley co-op team. The loss dropped Farmington's overall record to 6-4, and their conference record to 2-4 in the South Suburban Conference.
Tommy Lund, Henry Ulrick with two goals, Luke Coolidge with three goals, and Tate Rusnacko all contributed to the Tiger's offensive efforts, showcasing their offensive prowess and teamwork.
