Tigers Struggle At The Plate In Loss to Eastview

Farmington, Minn. - Both teams were strong on the mound on Tuesday, but Eastview was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over Farmington on Tuesday.

Owen Schmidt started the game for the Tigers and recorded 18 outs.

One bright spot for Farmington was a single by Ethen Stender in the second inning.

Ezra Formaneck toed the rubber for the Lightning. The righty allowed two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 13.

Schmidt was on the pitcher's mound for Farmington. The righty allowed six hits and two runs over six innings, striking out six and walking one.  Carter Giesen threw one inning out of the bullpen.

Stender and Trevor Rasmusson each collected one hit to lead the Tigers.

Eastview collected six hits.  Caleb McGrath and Cooper DeSutter all had multiple hits for the Lightning.  Eastview didn't commit a single error in the field. Nick Brandt had the most chances in the field with 13.
