Shakopee, Minn. - In an exciting South Suburban Conference matchup, the Farmington Tigers emerged victorious over the Shakopee Sabers with a final score of 8-5.
The Tigers secured a well-deserved win that boosted their overall record to 6-6, with a conference record of 3-4. On the other hand, the Sabers' efforts fell short as they now hold a 3-9 record, with a conference record of 1-6.
The Tigers were quick to establish their presence on the field, taking an early lead. At halftime, Farmington held a 5-3 advantage.
Leading the charge for the Tigers were Addison Moudry, Riley Wicklund, Caprese Meier, Makenna Kadrlik, and Madison Kadrlik. The scoring was evenly distributed among the team. Madison Kadrlik proved to be a standout player, netting an impressive three goals, while Wicklund contributed two goals to the team's total. Moudry, Meier, and MaKenna Kadrlik each added a goal to help solidify Farmington's lead.
