LAKEVILLE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers fell short against the Lakeville South Cougars in a South Suburban Conference meet on Tuesday night, losing 142.025 to 131.375. Despite the team loss, several Tigers delivered standout individual performances across all events.
RECAP
In the all-around, freshman Alana Oden placed fourth with a score of 33.875, highlighted by a strong 8.900 routine on the floor.
On vault, Oden led the Tigers with a sixth-place finish and a score of 8.675. She was joined by Cydney DeRuyck and Miley Malszycki, who tied for seventh with matching scores of 8.625.
On the uneven bars, Oden continued her consistent performance, finishing fifth with a 7.575. Natalie Griffith was close behind in sixth place with a 7.400.
The Tigers saw strong showings on beam, where Oden placed third with an 8.725. Chloe Stroth added to the team's effort with a sixth-place score of 8.200.
On the floor exercise, Kamryn Schmucker led Farmington with a third-place finish and a score of 9.175. Oden followed with a fifth-place score of 8.900, capping off her all-around performance.

Farmington will host the 46th Annual MGJA Invite, the longest-running and largest gymnastics invite in Minnesota, on Saturday, January 4, at Farmington High School. Competition begins at 11:15 a.m.
