In a commanding performance, the Farmington Tigers swept the Woodbury Royals in three sets during tonight's match. From the onset, the Tigers asserted their dominance, taking an early lead in set one and relinquishing control.Â
The first set saw the Tigers surge ahead, prompting the Royals to call a timeout when they found themselves trailing 8-4. However, despite the pause in play, Farmington continued to dictate the pace, ultimately securing the set with a convincing scoreline of 25-12.Â
Set two mirrored the first, with Farmington maintaining their momentum. The Tigers capitalized on multiple 5-0 runs, pushing the score to 17-8 and forcing Woodbury to burn their second timeout. Undeterred, Farmington powered through to claim the set with another 25-12 victory.Â
The third set saw some lineup changes for the Tigers, providing an opportunity for new faces like Brayden Kemmet and Sam Sergent to shine. Despite the alterations, Farmington remained in control, maintaining their rhythm and ultimately sealing the match with a 25-13 win in the third set, securing a 3-0 victory.Â
