Girls Lacrosse Defeats Century 15-4 In Home Opener

Farmington, Minn. -- In blustery conditions at Farmington High School on Thursday night, the Tigers secured a dominant victory over the Rochester Century Panthers, winning 15-4. 

Throughout the game, Farmington showcased their offensive skill, with a relentless attack that saw them take control early and maintain their lead throughout the contest. The Tigers' offensive onslaught resulted in a commanding 15 goals by the game's end.

Leading the charge for Farmington was a balanced scoring effort, with multiple players contributing to the scoreboard. Riley Wicklund emerged as a standout performer, tallying an impressive seven points with three goals and four assists. Kendall Sainsbury and Caprese Meier also made significant contributions, each netting a trio of goals.

In the defensive end, goalkeeper Lily Blanchard stood tall between the pipes, turning away 12 of the 16 shots she faced, boasting a solid save percentage of .750 for the game.
