Farmington, Minn. -- In a lopsided boys tennis match, the Farmington Tigers faced a tough challenge against the Eagan Wildcats, ultimately falling 7-0. The singles matchups saw a dominant performance from the Wildcats, with Carter Michaels of Eagan defeating
Dylan Henrikson of Farmington in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Similarly, Owen Heidtke and Jack Gustafson, also of Eagan, secured victories over
Tyler West and
Noah Batterman of Farmington, both with identical scores of 6-0, 6-0.
Moving on to the doubles matches, Eagan continued their strong showing. The duo of Omer Mitha and Will Gleason defeated Josh Stoneburg and Riley Watson of Farmington 6-1, 6-1 in the first doubles matchup. In the second doubles match, Luke Poppinga and Blake Prouty of Eagan emerged victorious over Gavin Andrews and Aiden Harer of Farmington, with a score of 6-0, 6-1.
