PRIOR LAKE, Minn. -- The Farmington Tigers Swim and Dive team fell to the Prior Lake Lakers 97-80 on Thursday night in a competitive meet that featured several standout performances from the Tigers.
In the Varsity 200-yard Medley Relay, Farmington's top team, featuring Micaela Cardoza, Taylor Gergen, Mikaela Udell, and Mikayla Gabrielson, clocked a 1:59.69, securing second place. The Tigers followed that with a strong showing in the 200-yard Freestyle, with Cardoza finishing third in 2:07.80, and Udell close behind in fourth with a time of 2:08.71.
Taylor Gergen delivered one of the night's top individual performances, winning the 100-yard Butterfly with a time of 1:01.42. She also claimed victory in the 100-yard Breaststroke, touching the wall at 1:08.59. In that same event, Parker Risch took second with a 1:16.03, while Chelsea Graw came in third at 1:22.24.
In the 500-yard Freestyle, Udell swam to a second-place finish, posting a time of 5:37.91. The 200-yard Freestyle Relay team, composed of Gergen, Gabrielson, Risch, and Josie Ribelin, finished second with a time of 1:49.80.
Abbi Olson also had a strong meet, winning the 100-yard Backstroke in 1:07.41, just ahead of Cardoza, who finished second at 1:08.07. In diving, Finn Samuell placed third with a score of 158.50, while Claire Gergen and Brooke Kunz finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
