LAKEVILLE, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls swim and dive team put forth a solid effort but ultimately fell short against the Lakeville North Panthers, losing 96-82 in Thursday night's South Suburban Conference matchup. Despite the loss, the Tigers delivered some standout performances across multiple events.

The Tigers' varsity 200-yard medley relay team of Micaela Cardoza, Taylor Gergen, Mikaela Udell, and Mikayla Gabrielson placed second with a time of 1:58.66. Farmington's depth showed, as the "B" relay team of Sasha Folland, Parker Risch, Hannah Fernandes, and Stacy Grinyayev placed fourth.
Mikaela Udell led the Tigers in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing third with a time of 2:07.72, while Harper Hoppe placed fifth. In the 100-yard butterfly, Taylor Gergen clocked in at 1:01.64 to claim second place, with Hannah Fernandes finishing fourth.
Micaela Cardoza highlighted Farmington's efforts with a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, touching the wall in 1:05.65. In the 100-yard breaststroke, Taylor Gergen took the top spot with a time of 1:08.68, while Parker Risch followed closely behind in second at 1:15.34.
In diving, Claire Gergen finished second with a score of 126.65, and Finn Samuell placed third with 125.60 points.
The Tigers' 400-yard freestyle relay team of Cardoza, Josie Ribelin, Aubrey Sontag, and Udell finished first with a time of 4:06.75 to cap off the meet.
