FARMINGTON, Minn. — Farmington High School proudly announces the signing of six student-athletes who have committed to compete at the NCAA Division I and II levels. This year's National Letter of Intent signing ceremony was held on Wednesday, February 5, at 7:30 am in the Large Lecture Hall, where these athletes were recognized for their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments on and off the field.

The following student-athletes are being celebrated for their achievements in their respective sports:

Brock Wyandt – Signing with Bemidji State for football, Brock has made his mark as a multi-sport athlete in football, basketball, and track. He earned three All-District honors and an AP All-State selection while maintaining an A/B Honor Roll status.

Max Speratos – Committed to the University of Minnesota Duluth for football, Max also competed in basketball and track. He earned two All-District First Team honors and has consistently maintained an A&B Honor Roll.

Jayden Gournaris – Committed to Northern State University for football, Jayden participated in football from grades 9 to 12, basketball in grade 9, and track & field during grades 10 and 11. His impressive accolades include selections as a 2023 MFCA 1st Team All-District offensive lineman, multiple MVP honors, and recognition in Prep RedZone Minnesota events.

Ethan Giesler – Joining the University of Minnesota Duluth for football, Ethan also took part in track and field and basketball. He was honored with a District HM award for his contributions on the field.

Mikhi Chant – Committed to the University of Jamestown for football, Mikhi demonstrated his athletic versatility by competing in both football and baseball throughout his high school career.

Layne Johnson – Signing with Northern State University for football, Layne also showcased his abilities in wrestling and track, earning an All Conference honor for his efforts.

Farmington High School is proud to celebrate these student-athletes as they continue their journey at the collegiate level. Each athlete represents the commitment and determination that define the Farmington Tigers, inspiring the entire school community.
