FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers Boys Lacrosse team opened the 2025 season in commanding fashion, defeating Chisago Lakes 12-2 on Wednesday night at Tiger Stadium. A fast start and balanced offensive attack helped the Tigers take control early and never look back.

Farmington jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter and matched that output in the second to take an 8-1 lead into halftime. The Tigers added two more goals in each of the final two quarters, while the defense held Chisago Lakes scoreless in the first and fourth.
AJ Vinar paced the Tigers with a team-high five points, tallying one goal and four assists. Henry Ulrick led all scorers with four goals, while Drake Anderson added two goals and an assist. Caden Hennes and Luke Wegwerth each contributed two points as Farmington spread the scoring across eight different players.
In goal, Hayden Houghton made eight saves on 10 shots to anchor a strong defensive effort. Tony Minks entered late and turned away both shots he faced, preserving the win and helping Farmington hold Chisago Lakes to just two goals on the night.
