EAGAN, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls lacrosse team stayed perfect on the season Tuesday night, defeating Eastview/Eagan 15-2 at Eastview High School to improve to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in South Suburban Conference play.
RECAP
The Tigers came out firing, scoring six unanswered goals in the first quarter to set the tone early. Senior attacker Riley Wicklund was nearly unstoppable in the opening frame, recording a first-quarter hat trick en route to a five-goal night.
Jalila Steffes, Lucy Warner, and Jaida Steffes also found the net in the first 12 minutes, with assists coming from Wicklund, Jenna Goblirsch, and Jaida Steffes. The Tigers led 7-1 at halftime and pulled away further in the third, adding five more goals—including two more from Wicklund and a strike each from Warner, Addison Moudry, and Jaida Steffes.
Farmington capped off the dominant performance with three more goals in the fourth quarter, while the defense—anchored by goalkeeper Lily Blanchard—held Eastview/Eagan scoreless in two of the four quarters. Blanchard finished with eight saves and an .800 save percentage.

Farmington returns home for a key non-conference matchup on Thursday, April 24, when the Tigers host undefeated Minnetonka at Tiger Stadium. Opening draw is set for 6:00 p.m.
