FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers boys lacrosse team remained unbeaten Thursday night, powering past the Northfield Raiders 13-2 in a dominant non-conference victory at Tiger Stadium. With the win, Farmington improved to 4-0 overall and remained 1-0 in South Suburban Conference play.

The Tigers controlled the game from the opening faceoff, scoring three goals in the first quarter and adding two more before halftime to build a 5-0 lead. Farmington exploded for six goals in the third quarter to put the game firmly out of reach.
Brooks Furney led the offensive charge with a hat trick and two assists, finishing with five points to pace the Tigers. Parker Nivala and Henry Ulrick each scored two goals and added an assist, while eight different Farmington players tallied points in a balanced offensive attack.
Defensively, the Tigers were sharp, limiting Northfield to just 16 total shots. Goaltenders Hayden Houghton and Tony Minks combined for five saves on seven shots, helping Farmington's defense maintain its strong early-season form.
Farmington dominated possession and the ground ball battle, collecting 32 ground balls compared to Northfield's six.
