ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Farmington Tigers girls lacrosse team rebounded in a big way Saturday afternoon, rolling to an 18-3 win over the previously unbeaten Rochester Century Panthers. The Tigers improve to 4-1 overall and remain 1-0 in South Suburban Conference play heading into another busy week.

The Tigers dominated possession and outshot Rochester Century 26-7 for the game, turning a close first half into a runaway victory.
Jaida Steffes led the Tigers' attack, pouring in seven goals and adding an assist to finish with a game-high eight points. Riley Wicklund added three goals and four assists, while Amanda Kubes and Addison Moudry each scored twice. In all, nine different Tigers recorded at least one point.
Farmington's defense, led by Lily Blanchard in net, held strong throughout. Blanchard finished with four saves on seven shots and helped direct a defensive unit that allowed only three goals on the day.
The Tigers controlled the ground ball battle as well, collecting 29 ground balls to Rochester Century's 7.
