FARMINGTON, Minn. – The Farmington girls swimming and diving team continued its strong start to the season with a 114-57 win over South Suburban Conference opponent Burnsville on Thursday night at Dodge Middle School. The Tigers captured 10 of 12 events and showcased strong depth across the lineup to remain unbeaten in dual meets.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Claire Duellman earned a pair of individual wins in the 200 freestyle (2:15.94) and 500 freestyle (6:01.30).
- Micaela Cardoza added wins in the 200 individual medley (2:20.75) and 100 butterfly (1:05.21).
- Taylor Gergen swept the sprint events with first-place finishes in the 50 freestyle (26.96) and 100 backstroke (1:08.20).
- Parker Risch placed first in the 100 freestyle with a time of 59.14.
- The 200 medley relay team of Cardoza, Risch, Gergen, and Duellman opened the meet with a win in 2:02.91.
- In the 200 freestyle relay, Cardoza, Claire Akolly, Risch, and Duellman combined for a winning time of 1:50.98.
- Farmington swept the top three spots in 1-meter diving, led by Finn Samuell (143.25), Claire Gergen (132.90), and Brooke Kunz (117.20).

The Tigers will compete at the Lakeville Relays on Saturday, September 6 at the Blanchard Aquatic Center in Lakeville.
