Farmington Girls Basketball (3-3, 0-2 SSC) traveled to Eagan High School on Friday, December 16 for their second SSC game of the season.
Eagan (4-3, 1-1 SSC) was coming off a December 13 loss to Rosemount and the Tigers were riding high after a big 52-39 win over Section 1 AAAA opponent Owatonna.
It was, however, the Wildcats who would earn the victory on Friday night beating the Tigers 62-40.
Farmington found themselves down by 12 at the break, trailing 28-16. The second half saw nearly the same point differential as Farmington was outscored 34-24.
Ali Simonson played well offensively scoring 11 points.
Hannah Hansen continued her impressive week netting 8 points for the Tigers.Â
Ellie Helgemoe also scored 6 points of her own.
