FARMINGTON, Minn. -- The Section 1 Class AAAA Girls Basketball tournament is set to begin on Wednesday, February 25 and the Farmington Tigers have earned the No. 5 seed in the tournament.
The 10-16 (4-12 SSC) Tigers, will travel to No. 4 Owatonna for a 7:00 pm game on Wednesday.
The Huskies enter Wednesday's game 18-8 overall and 15-5 in the Big 9.
The two teams did not meet during the 2025-26 regular season.
Team seeds for the tournament are:
- Rochester Mayo
- Lakeville South
- Lakeville North
- Owatonna
- Farmington
- New Prague
- Rochester Century
- Rochester John Marshall
Tickets will be available via the
Owatonna High School GoFan ticket box.
All section tournament games are $10 for adults and $6 for students. South Suburban Conference passes will not be accepted. Only valid Region 1AA passes will grant admission.
