Edina Pulls Away in Second Half to Defeat Tigers, 81-73

FARMINGTON, Minn. – In a high-scoring non-conference matchup, the Farmington Tigers fell to the Edina Hornets 81-73 on Saturday, December 2, at Farmington High School. The Tigers held a narrow 39-37 lead at halftime, but the Hornets outpaced them in the second half to hand Farmington its first loss of the season.

RECAP
Farmington started strong, using effective ball movement and scoring in transition to edge ahead at the break. Ashley Harrison led the charge with an aggressive first-half performance, while the Tigers' defense did enough to keep Edina's attack contained through the opening 18 minutes.

The second half, however, saw Edina respond with a surge of offensive efficiency, turning a two-point deficit into an eight-point win. Despite several late scoring runs by the Tigers, the Hornets maintained control down the stretch by converting free throws and forcing key turnovers in the final minutes.
