Girls Basketball Takes Down Owatonna 52-39

Girls Basketball hosted Owatonna on Thursday, December 15 in a rescheduled game from November 29. Farmington made the most of the make-up game and dropped the Huskies 52-39 on their home court.

Missed shots and turnovers from both teams made for a slow first half, however, Farmington was able to build a 4-poimt lead by halftime.

The Tigers would continue the offensive pressure outscoring the Huskies by 9 in the second half to earn a 52-39 win.

Hannah Hansen was, again, the points leader for Farmington despite only shooting 33% from the field. Hansen was 0-of-3 from behind the arc as well.

Both Maggie Griffin and Ellie Mogensen scored 9 points in the game for the Tigers. Mogensen had a better shooting night going 3-of-4 from the field and 1-of-2 from three point land. Griffin ws 3-of-7 shooting on the night and her only attempt from beyond the arc did not fall.

Marianah Scott was big on the boards grabbing a team-high 5 offensive and defensive rebounds.
