Tigers place 1st at UW-RF home meet

Girls Track & Field traveled to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls to host a home meet on Tuesday, April 5. The girls scored a total of 152 team points and earned a 1st place finish!

In the 200m dash, Farmington's Savanna Owens placed 1st with a time of 28.14. Lillian Reuss placed 2nd in the 800m run with a time of 2:41.87. In the 55m hurdles, Ashtyn Gagner and Ava Sullivan placed 1st and 2nd respectively. Gagner finished with a time of 9.41 while Sullivan finished just behind her with a time of 9.42. The girls' 4x200m relay team placed 1st with a time of 1:51.33. Farmington's 4x400m relay team won their event with a time of 4:18.87. 

Julia Gordon placed 1st in the girls high jump clearing 5-00.00. The top 3 places in the girls pole vault went to Izzy Anderson, Ella Taarud, and Rebecca Woody. Anderson's vault was 8-06.00 while Taarud and Woody cleared 7-00.00. Farmington claimed 1st-3rd place in the girls long jump. Abigail Ryan won the event with a jump of 15-06.00. Julia Gordon placed 2nd with a jump of 14-09.00. Izzy Anderson placed 3rd with a jump of 14-06.00. In the triple jump, Ashtyn Gagner placed 1st with a jump of 33-10.50.
