Farmington Girls Track & Field hosted Eastview and Apple Valley at FHS on Monday, April 11. The meet, originally scheduled for Thursday, April 14 at Apple Valley, was moved up to take advantage of the nice weather.
In their first outdoor meet of the 2021-22 season, Farmington took 1st place as a team scoring 74.66 team points; Eastview scored 57.33; and, Apple Valley scored 32.
Marianah Scott placed 2nd in the 100m dash with a time of 13.33. Scott earned a 1st place finish in the 400m dash with a time of 1:03.50. Vanessa Ogumanam placed 2nd in the 200m dash with a time of 27.68. Mackenzy Lippold won the girls 800m dash with a time of 2:39.77. Lauren Lansing, Mackenzy Lippold, and Mariah Fenske took the top 3 spots in the 1600m run with times of 5:28.14, 5:37.17, and 5:41.21 respectively. Ashtyn Gagner earned a 2nd place finish in the 100m hurdles finishing with a time of 17.49. The girls 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m relay teams all earned 1st place finishes.
In the field events, Macyn Hins was the winner of the girls pole vault clearing 6-00.00.
