Girls Track & Field traveled to Hopkins High School on Tuesday, April 26 for the Hopkins True Team Invitational. The meet features some of the Metro's top track & field teams. The Tigers earned a 3rd place finish.
Senior Tiffany Kolb earned a 5th place finish in the 100m dash with a time of 13.29. Marianah Scott finished in 4th in the 200m dash with a time of 27.07. Marianah Scott and Vanessa Ogumanam finished in the top 3 in the 400m dash. Scott placed 2nd with a time of 1:01.30 and Ogumanam placed 3rd with a time of 1:02.08. Lauren Lansing placed 3rd in the 800m run with a time of 2:23.00. Farmington had a strong showing in the 1600m run. Sophia Venning placed 5th, Mariah Fenske 6th, and Mackenzy Lippold 7th. Mackenzy Lippold also earned herself a 2nd place finish in the 3200m run. Megan Liebers was the top Tiger finisher in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.84. Ava Sullivan placed 3rd in the 300m hurldles with a time of 49.06. The girls 4x400m relay team of Ava Sullivan, Vanessa Ogumanam, Lauren Lansing, and Marianah Scott won the event with a time of 4:10.73.
In the field events, Julia Gordon continues to have a nice season in the high jump. Gordon placed 1st clearing 5-02.00.
