Volleyball hosted another ranked team on Saturday, August 27 as they welcomed the Rochester Mayo Spartans to FHS.
The Tigers showed up in set number one ready to play earning the set victory 28-26. Mayo showed why they're one of the top Section 1 AAAA teams, winning set number two 25-7. Farmington hung around in set number three but came up short, 21-25. The Spartans finished off the Tigers in the fourth set by a score of 14-25.
Julia Gordon performed well notching 12 kills on the afternoon.
Becca Woody had 6.
Elexis West led the team with 10 digs while
Becca Woody and
Natalie Rutz had 6 each.
As a team, the Tigers hit .0.042 with 31 kills, 5 aces, 34 digs, and 4 blocks.Â
