FARMINGTON, Minn. – The 2025 Section 1 Class AAAA girls volleyball tournament bracket has been finalized, and the Farmington Tigers have earned the No. 5 seed. The Tigers will open postseason play on the road against No. 4 seed New Prague in the section quarterfinals on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. at New Prague High School.
Farmington enters the tournament looking to build on a strong regular season and make a deep run through a competitive section. The Tigers will face a familiar New Prague squad in the opening round.
The 2025 Section 1AAAA bracket features eight teams, with first-round matchups scheduled across the region on October 22. The full seeding for the tournament is as follows:
- Lakeville South
- Lakeville North
- Owatonna
- New Prague
- Farmington
- Rochester Century
- Rochester Mayo
- Rochester John Marshall
Winners from the quarterfinal round will advance to the semifinals, with the Section 1AAAA championship match to follow. The section champion will advance to the MSHSL Class AAAA State Tournament in November.
Ticket Information:
Tickets for all section tournament games are $10 for adults and $6 for students. South Suburban Conference (SSC) passes will not be accepted. Only Region 1AA passes will be valid for admission.
