FARMINGTON, Minn. – In a signature win during Homecoming Week, the Farmington Tigers girls volleyball team delivered a statement performance on Thursday night, defeating top-ten ranked Eagan in four sets (25-23, 19-25, 25-18, 25-22) at Farmington High School. The victory marks a major step forward for the Tigers as they continue to build momentum in South Suburban Conference play.

The Tigers opened the match strong, taking the first set 25-23 behind solid defense and steady serving. After dropping the second set 19-25, Farmington regrouped to win the third set convincingly, 25-18. With the home crowd behind them, the Tigers closed out the match in the fourth set, edging Eagan 25-22 to seal the 3-1 victory.
Farmington's all-around team effort was highlighted by strong contributions at the net and in the back row. The Tigers recorded 43 assists and 79 digs, while limiting errors and maintaining a serve percentage over 92 percent in the opening set.

- Lexi West led the defense with 28 digs and a serve receive rating of 2.13.
- Taylor Hagedorn delivered a team-high 7 aces and added 8 digs while serving at a 94.4 percent clip.
- Finley Miller recorded 11 digs and hit .333 across four sets.
- Kayla Trembley posted a match-best .429 hitting percentage with no service errors.
- Sabrina Caven added 9 digs and averaged 1.50 kills per set.
- Addison Otto paced the offense with a team-high 2.50 assists per set.
- Braelyn Hendrickson added 3.50 assists per set and contributed at the net with efficient attacking.

Farmington returns to action on Monday, Sept. 29, with a road matchup against Prior Lake. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
