Girls basketball hosted SSC foe Burnsville on Thursday, january 5. The Tigers played well and fended off the Blaze winning 79-70.
The game remained close throughout the night, however, Farmington maintained control earning a 32-29 lead at the half.Â
Freethrows proved key at the end of the game as the Tigers outscored Burnsville 47-41 in the second half en route to the victory.
Hannah Hansen had a standout offensive performance scoring a team-high 22 points on the night.
Bailey Garrahy also performed well scoring 18 points for the Tigers.
Marianah Scott added 11 points and
Marin Blom had 10.
