#5 Panthers Dominate Farmington in Three Sets
Lakeville, MN - Early in set one Lakeville North went on a 8-0 run to establish a 9-2 run including 5 early aces. In a few side out possessions Farmington held their own, until another Panther run and an early set one loss 12-25 for Farmington.
Set two looked very similar for the Tigers as Lakeville North established an early lead. Farmington exhausted both timeouts within the first 15 points but were unable to bounce back.Â
The Tigers bounced back in set three, going on a few runs themselves. The Panthers grew their largest lead 20-10 but Maddy Dombeck put the game into her own hands. Dombeck with 4 aces in set three at the end bringing the Tigers within 3. Lakeville stepped back on the gas, winning the match, and set three 25-19.Â
Sabrina Caven led the Tigers with 7 kills and Taylor Hagedorn had 3. Maddy Dombeck had 13 set assists and 5 aces.Â
Final Score - Lakeville North defeats Farmington; 25-12, 25-8, and 25-19.
