Rochester, Minn. -- Farmington girls basketball traveled to Rochester Century on Saturday night and lost a double-overtime thriller to the Panthers, 78-68.
Nearly all of the first half belonged to the Panthers as they would lead by as many as 9 points before the Tigers came to life right before the half to earn a 29-24 lead heading into the break.
The two teams would trade leads throughout the second half that ended in a tie, sending the game to overtime. The two teams scored 6 points each in the first frame, before Century would run away with the game in the second overtime, winning 78-68.
Hannah Hansen and
Carly Olson lead the way for Farmington scoring 13 points each.
Ashley Harrison contributed 12 points and
Gianna Carpentier would add 10 points of her own.
