Chanhassen, Minn. -- Farmington High School's girls basketball team traveled across the Metro on Monday night to face the 1-1 Chanhassen Storm. The Tigers would play an exceptional first half, however, would fall to the Storm 69-53.
The two teams battled in the first half. Midway through the first half, Farmington found themselves down by 6. The Tigers would battle to get themselves back into the game earning a 31-26 lead late in the half. Chan closed the margin as the half closed and Farmington trailed 34-35 at the break.
The Storm would run away with the game in the second half as the Tigers struggled to score. Chanhassen outscored the Tigers 34-19 in the second half en route to their 69-53 victory.
The Tigers shot just 29.3% from the field compared to the Storm's 45.3% FG percentage. Farmington was just 13/26 from the free throw line.
Lexi Goring lead the way for the Tigers earning 13 points on the night.

Hannah Hansen, and
Carly Olson all scored 10 points for Farmington.
Ashley Harrison and
Gianna Carpentier scored 5 each.
