Farmington Girls Basketball (6-17, 3-11 SSC) nearly earned a victory over the Eastview Lightning (12-11, 8-6 SSC) on Wednesday at FHS.
After trailing by just 1 point heading into halftime, the Tigers came out flat and found themselves down by double digits. Farmington battled throughout the second half to cut Eastview's lead to just 4 with just a couple of minutes left to play.
Eastview's free throws in the final minute of the game proved to be enough as Farmington was defeated 49-41.
Hannah Hansen had a terrific game doing the heavy lifting for the Tigers. Hansen score 20 points on the night.
Marianah Scott played well at point earning 8 points and
Ellie Mogensen score 7 points.
