Bloomington, Minn. - The Tigers started Set one with a 7-2 before a Jefferson timeout. The Jaguars were quick to bounce back soon, leading 10-8. After back and forth play Jaguars stretched their lead out at the end of the first set to win 25-21.
With a few missed serves for both teams the second set started close. It was not long before the Tigers took a substantial lead, not looking back, winning set two 25-17. In set three, both teams competed with a few long rallies. With no leads more than two points until the Tigers lead 18-14. Farmington held on to take set three 25-20.
Set four had a different pace. Farmington had their first win of the season in their vision and nothing was going to stop them. Taking a quick lead 10-6 forcing a Jaguar timeout, the Tigers were determined. All momentum going Farmington's way they won set four 25-15.
The Tigers were led in kills by Adi Otto with 13, Sabrina Caven with 9, Taylor Hagedorn with 6 and Maddy Dombeck with 5. Maddy Dombeck and Elexis West with 4 aces a piece, and Dombeck with 31 set assists.
Final Score - Farmington defeats Bloomington Jefferson 21-25, 25-17, 25-20, and 25-15.
