Burnsville, Minn. -- In a South Suburban Conference clash, the Farmington Tigers faced a narrow defeat against the Burnsville Blaze, with a final score of 65-63 at Burnsville High School.
The first half saw the Farmington Tigers holding a slim one-point lead, with a score of 34-33. The intensity escalated in the second half as both teams battled fiercely, exchanging baskets and defensive plays. Burnsville managed to secure a slight advantage, outscoring Farmington 32-29 in the final half.
Individual player performances were notable on both sides. Maggie Griffin of Farmington demonstrated scoring prowess, contributing 14 points to her team's total.
