Farmington, Minn. -- In a SSC showdown at Farmington High School on January 16, the Farmington Tigers faced a challenging match against the Lakeville North Panthers.
The game unfolded with Lakeville North taking control early, dominating the first half with a commanding lead of 47-29. The Panthers showcased their offensive skill, displaying effective teamwork and precision on the court. The Tigers, determined to mount a comeback, put up a spirited effort in the second half, but Lakeville North continued to assert their dominance, closing the game with a final score of 79-59.
Individual player performances played a crucial role in shaping the outcome. Gracie Winge led the scoring for Lakeville North with 18 points, supported by contributions from Aduke Ojullu with 15 points and Gabby Betton with 11 points.
On the Farmington side, Hannah Hansen emerged as the leading scorer, contributing 16 points to the team's total.
